I have recently had the pleasure of creating a new logo, business card and letterhead for a local Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic. My client The Tree of Life Wellness Clinic was after something with a sense of style and elegance and not the more clinical, clean cut graphic. They particularly wanted a design that related to the bristlecone pine tree, which has a personal connection for them. It was a fascinating starting point and I enjoyed researching this natural wonder, which happens to be the world’s oldest living tree.
GIVE YOUR CLIENT WHAT THEY WANT
It is important to give your client a wide variety of styles and layouts to begin the process of finding out what they really like and what they don’t. In this way you are able to have the conversation and create that one image that hits all of the requirements of the initial brief.
The right design doesn’t always present itself straightaway. You almost need to make few wrong turns and go through the struggle before you have that moment when you absolutely know you are on the right track.
The owners have given me permission to share with you some pictures of this journey and show how a beautiful logo can be used in a number of different ways such as for the gift market or even home décor. Please respect the copyright of these images.
……………………..So I shall leave you with a testimonial from my client and also the decision as to whether or not a logo can indeed just be a beautifully simple piece of artwork.
Thank you for looking and reading!
